An introduction to the burning issues surrounding Lithium-ion battery fires
This CPD accredited presentation covers the risks, causes and effects of Lithium-ion (LiB) battery fires. These fires are a growing problem, as a huge variety of devices and products now use Lithium-ion battery products.
There are particular concerns around e-scooters and e-bikes with fires from these personal modes of transport being more regularly covered in the mainstream media, while other questions centre around the safety of charging electric vehicles in underground car parks and the safe recycling of Lithium-ion batteries.
